Emma & Sam

Emma & Sam celebrated their wedding with us over three days, back in July.

After a very relaxed morning and some intimate vows just between the two of them, celebrant Amy Webster conducted the fun and personal ceremony in the Grand Hall.

We set up a Spritz station for the drinks reception at Bojangles Bar, while guests enjoyed canapés by Crunch Platters and music from Lewis Kaye.

It was then into the Atlas Dome for the cake cutting and meal by Food with Jooj. The evening finished inside with a party provided by Jordan Murray & The Pluckers.

Emma’s love of crafts and baking was reflected throughout. There were so many beautiful handmade touches everywhere, and she even made her own impressive selection of cakes.

The theme of baking didn’t stop there – all of the guests and suppliers favourite recipes were lovingly collated into a recipe book given out as favours, and Emma read out the most beautiful baking themed reading during the speeches, that barely left a dry eye in the house. Have a read below.

And because they didn’t want the party to stop after just one day, guests were invited back on the Sunday for a garden party with coffee, cake and charcuterie.

Here’s some of their incredible review:

“We genuinely couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for our wedding than Netherbyres. From the first time we visited, we loved how beautiful the house was. The decor is absolutely stunning and, weirdly, it reminded us a little of our own home, just a much much grander version! It felt like somewhere we would be able to completely relax and host a wedding that actually felt like us.

We loved having Netherbyres completely to ourselves for the whole weekend. It basically felt like our house for the weekend. It made the whole thing feel like a wedding weekend away, rather than just one big day!

We had never really wanted the traditional ‘big white wedding’ and Netherbyres gave us the freedom to create something that felt completely like us. It was beautiful, colourful, relaxed and just so much fun.

We thought we would be devastated when it was all over, but we had such a genuinely brilliant weekend that we actually just left feeling completely content with it all. Netherbyres will always hold such a special place in our hearts and we would choose it all over again in a heartbeat.”
